prsw winners & building   Welcome to our success story so far...

Principle Reprographic Services Ltd
was established in February 1990 with only three members of staff and a lot of self-belief. with two sleeping partners for the first year, Peter Crawley and John Armstrong, now good friends and customers. we started working in 4000sq ft of rented accomodation, working from 80 to 100 hours per week to get the business up and running.

We are now approaching 20 years in business things are quite different. we are now a team of 30 plus working in a 10,000sq ft building incorporating a new spacious, office, a newly refurbished & fully equipped graphic design studio, a sign writing and vinyl graphics department and three large print areas. Our large conference room is complete with it’s own bar.

Social club outings are held regularly and we also have a fully equipped gymnasium, sauna and solarium as an ideal place to relax after any hard days work.

Within PRS we have our own lithographic print department with the ability to produce anything from 1 to four colour letterheads, business cards or brochures & leaflets, in fact all your business design & print requirements.

We also have an embroidery section where exclusive designs can be portrayed onto any item of clothing. We are able to depict your company product logo onto hats, sweatshirts, fleeces,
t-shirts, polo shirts, tabards - again in fact, just about anything!

Our Cutting Edge department supplies vinyl lettered banners, car signage and also any form of lettering is available in any design possible. This in addition to the Design, Screen & Litho print department makes us a one-stop print shop.

we are as efficient and economical as possible and in turn, save our customers time and money.

Bradford is a city of achievers-and that‘s official!
Three of the winners at this year’s Yorkshire Young Achiever Awards (YYAA) hailed from Bradford and received their awards at a fund-raising gala dinner in Leeds.

Randolph Victor, Managing director of PRS Printers, (Inkerman Street) won the Enterprise Award in 1992. The title recognised his initiative in developing the company from humble beginnings with just three members in 1990, to its present strength of 22 staff members and a turnover of £500,000.

He was nominated by one of his employees, Amanda Sleight of Idle, who praised Randolph for his selfless dedication in building the business and his commitment to a happy workplace.

Other winners were Peter Softly of Cutler Heights Lane, who scooped the Leadership award for his voluntary work, and Adeeba Malik was the winner of the Education/Training award for her pioneering work as Language Development Manager with QED Bradford.

The YYAA was established to recognise and reward outstanding achievement by young people from the region under the age of 35, while supporting two local charities- NCH Action for Children and the Heartbeat Appeal Fund.

The Good Neighbour...

Businessman helping to keep the streets of Bradford clean!

Businessman Randolph Victor has won over the people near his factory by cleaning up the streets they live on. Since he moved his business near to their homes in Bradford 7 years ago he has spent £10,000 resurfacing the road. More than that, he has renovated the drainage system and spends £1000 on hanging baskets to make sure the street looks its best. And, as if that was not enough, his staff belive he is Bradfords best boss for he has given them the use of a sauna, sunbed, gym, staff bar and canteen complete with pool table, TV, video and stereo.

Mr Victor moved his firm PRS ltd, to Inkerman Street, off Cutler Heights Lane in 1992 “It looked terrible when we first moved here. We didn’t want to give the wrong impression to customers and we wanted to show goodwill to the neighbours,” said Mr Victor.

“We wanted people to walk past the street and think how nice it looked. The flowers really make a difference and brighten the street in Summer. We’ve got a loyal and dedicated workforce and a lot of that comes from the facilities they get at work. The gym and all the equipment is a good investment and is well used.”

Resident Corinne Sanderson said: “Before Randolph moved the company here, the street was a complete mess.

“ It was rough and full of potholes and it looked very drab. We all signed a declaration to say that we would pay for and maintain the road with no cost to us.

“He sorted out the drain system as our cellars would flood if there had been bad weather. He’s really made a difference to the street and you do sometimes see him out there with a brush in his hand sweeping up.”

Office Manager Julie Hudson said: “Randolph is a lovely boss and is very kind and thoughtful. He’s a real treasure.”

Boss Wins Top Award

Randolph Victor, Managing Director of Principle Reprographic Services LTD, of (Inkerman Street, Bradford) scooped a European Award of Excellence 2002 at a ceremony in London recently. Mr Victor, who was nominated for the award by the chairman of Action for Black Community development (Bradford), picked up the award at this year’s European federation of Black & Asian Women awards ceremony.

He said “I was up against Meera Syal, the star of Goodness Gracious Me, and actress Jean Breeze, so I didn’t think I stood a chance. “I thought it was great to be nominated, but to win is just fantastic.” The award, just one of three open to men at the ceremony, was won by news presenter Moira Stewart last year.
It is given to people who are a positive role model for blacks and Asians and who are dedicated to their local community.

Mr Victor added: “I realise that without good staff no company will survive as these people are your greatest asset. Many other company’s would do well to realise this and to cherish those that make it what it is.

“We at Principle Reprographic Services LTD work in one direction and as a team. Very important to us is our ability to help other people or organisations in our community that are not as established as ourselves."

“We realise that it is not just about making money but looking after those who are important to us and the future of our community."

“I would like to thank anybody who has worked with, for and alongside PRS during the last 12 years and we hope that their are many more successful years ahead of us.”
